Join the Conversation on the Future of Global Mobility
Join Cezary Zieniuk and fellow industry experts for “The New Geography of Global Mobility”
– an IM Yearbook webinar exploring where demand, policy and opportunity are moving next.
Cezary Zieniuk, Founder of Citiverse, will join the Investment Migration Council (IMC) for the upcoming free webinar The New Geography of Global Mobility: Where Demand, Policy and Opportunity Are Moving on 23 September 2026. The online panel will examine how changing client expectations, emerging destinations, policy developments and wider geopolitical and economic forces are reshaping international mobility and investment migration.
The session forms part of the conversation around the IM Yearbook 2027, with selected insights from the webinar expected to inform future editorial coverage. For Citiverse, the discussion is closely aligned with the way global mobility is increasingly being approached in practice: not as a single destination decision, but as a wider strategy involving citizenship, residency, family, business and long-term optionality.

Global mobility is moving beyond the traditional question of where an individual can obtain a visa, residence permit or second passport. Increasingly, internationally mobile families and entrepreneurs are evaluating how different jurisdictions fit together across citizenship, residence rights, business access, tax residence, family continuity and long-term risk management. This broader shift is also reflected in the IM Yearbook 2027, which focuses on the changing architecture of global mobility as policy, geopolitics, technology and international investment evolve.
For Citiverse, this is consistent with the wider trend we have been examining across our recent insights on mobility risk and Plan B global mobility planning. Clients are increasingly looking beyond one headline benefit and asking a more practical question: which combination of legal status, geographic access and long-term flexibility best supports the way they actually live, work and plan for their families?
The panel will focus on the forces changing both demand and opportunity across the global mobility sector. Rather than treating mobility as a static market, the discussion is expected to examine how client priorities and government policy are evolving at the same time, and what that means for advisers, investors and internationally mobile families.
Cezary Zieniuk will participate in the panel as Founder of Citiverse. His contribution will bring the perspective of an advisory business working across citizenship, residency and wider international structuring, where the client decision is rarely limited to selecting a single program.
Citiverse was created around a long-term approach to citizenship and residency planning. The objective is to assess how a route fits the client’s nationality, family structure, mobility requirements, investment preferences, due diligence profile and wider international plans. That makes the theme of the IMC webinar particularly relevant: the geography of mobility is changing, but so is the way clients evaluate what mobility should achieve.
One of the most important developments in global mobility is the move away from treating citizenship, residency and relocation as interchangeable solutions. A second citizenship can provide nationality diversification and a durable additional legal status. A residence permit can provide a practical base in a jurisdiction where a family may actually want to live, study, operate a business or spend significant time. In some cases, the strongest strategy combines both layers rather than asking one status to solve every objective.
This more structured approach also changes how destinations are compared. A program should not be assessed only by processing time, investment level or a headline visa-free count. The analysis needs to consider legal durability, family eligibility, practical mobility, residence obligations, due diligence, post-approval requirements and the role the jurisdiction will play if circumstances change several years after the original application.
The Investment Migration Council describes the IM Yearbook as an annual reference for practitioners, policymakers, advisers, investors and institutions working across the investment migration sector. The 2027 edition is being developed around the theme “The Architecture of Global Mobility – Opportunity in a Transitioning World,” reflecting the pace at which policy, investment patterns, technology and geopolitical realities are changing the sector.
Selected perspectives from the September webinar will contribute to the wider editorial conversation around the IM Yearbook 2027. This gives the session a broader role than a standalone webinar: it is part of an industry discussion about where global mobility is moving and how responsible, professional advice needs to evolve with it.
Citiverse is operated by IBCCS Corporate Services LLC, a member of the Investment Migration Council. Participation in the IMC community supports Citiverse’s focus on professional standards, responsible investment migration and compliance-led citizenship and residency planning.
For clients, those principles matter because global mobility decisions can affect multiple areas at once. Citizenship, residence, property investment, family planning, banking, tax residence and business structuring should be coordinated where relevant, while remaining legally distinct. The strongest outcome is therefore not the most heavily promoted program, but the solution that fits the client’s actual objectives and can be implemented properly.
The New Geography of Global Mobility will take place online on Wednesday, 23 September 2026, from 14:00 to 15:00 CEST. The panel will bring together perspectives on changing client demand, emerging destinations and the policy, geopolitical and economic forces shaping international mobility.
